Our Articles of Faith
At Fountain Park First Church of God, we are part of the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana) movement, which emphasizes Christ as the head of the church and the Bible as our guide for faith and practice. Our Articles of Faith are not a rigid creed but a shared understanding of key biblical truths that unite us as a family of believers.
We affirm:
Salvation through Christ alone—new life and forgiveness are found in Jesus.
Holiness of life—God calls us to live in love, purity, and obedience to His Word.
Unity of believers—all who follow Christ are part of God’s family, regardless of denomination.
The Great Commission—we are sent to share the Gospel and serve others with compassion.
Christ’s return—we look forward in hope to the day when Jesus will come again.
These beliefs guide our worship, our mission, and the way we live out our faith every day.
